Tilda Swinton for W

I recently did the brilliant Tilda Swinton‘s makeup (photographed by Mario Sorrenti) for W Magazine. Instead of doing the usual rms luminous look, I opted for a more dramatic eye with matte skin.
To achieve this look, I blended three of my rms beauty cream eye shadows: myth, magnetic and the soon-to-be-released karma. All are dark shades so combining them makes for a very striking eye.
For the rest of her face, I used another product coming out soon, our soft-set powder. This is a translucent setting powder that softens the skin and gives that matte look I wanted. I then used the ‘un’ cover-up in 11 and finished her lips with my lip and skin balm to give just a natural, moisturized look.
I can’t wait to try the soft-set powder!
yesssssssss! psyched about it all!! when is the powder coming? thank you rm! i dont know what i would do without your amazing products.
Thank you so much! Can’t say yet, but we will reveal the release date for the soft-set powder soon….
xoxo
What kind of ingredients will the soft set powder contain? As you’ve said a lot about powders being dangerous because of the inhalation risk.
The powder will have only one ingredient: a high quality silica that has been cut in a spherical shape in order to avoid inhalation risk. We want to keep all our products safe and clean for our customers! xo
Oh, lovelly! That sounds like a very clever idea 🙂 Thanks for the reply. I always try to find out as much information as I can about a product before using it, even though I trust RMS Beauty, I was a little worried about the powder, so I thought it was best to ask, instead of just assuming it may be unsafe.
